Welcome to Heritage Hill Acres, LLC—where exceptional horse care comes first. Set across 63 scenic acres, our facility is designed to provide comfort, safety, and quality for both horses and their owners.

Our property features a spacious 40-stall barn, an 80x120 indoor arena, and an 80x100 outdoor arena, along with convenient amenities such as wash racks, multiple tack rooms, and dedicated grain storage areas. We take pride in offering, high-quality shavings for bedding, matted stalls, and large, open group pastures to support your horse’s health and happiness.

Heritage Hill Acres offers flexible boarding options to suit your needs, including full-care and partial-care packages, as well as à la carte services for one-time requests. Beyond boarding, we also provide horse lease opportunities, beginner-friendly lessons in both western riding and driving, and enjoyable activities like pony rides for all ages.

Horse Lease Options

Heritage Hill Acres offers excellent leasing opportunities for riders looking to build experience and enjoy consistent time in the saddle. To qualify for a lease, riders should be at least a Level 2 in horsemanship and riding skills, or be actively taking lessons with the stable owner while leasing.

All prospective lessees are asked to demonstrate their abilities to the stable owners. This includes essential horse care and handling skills such as catching, haltering, leading, tying, grooming, hoof care, saddling, and bridling, along with basic riding proficiency.

We offer flexible leasing arrangements, including shared leases where two individuals split time with one horse. Typically, one rider has access three days per week and the other four, with board costs divided accordingly.

Meet the Owners

Kerry Ann Sweitz-Fendt

Kerry Ann has been passionate about horses her entire life. She has been married to her husband, Seth, for 10 years, and together they are raising their two sons, Lane and Stetson. Kerry Ann pursued her education in human services, attending George Fox University for three years—where she also served as cheerleading captain—before completing her degree through Indiana Wesleyan University. Today, their family cares for a lively and much-loved group of animals, including 29 horses, 2 cats, and 8 dogs.

At just 18 years old, Kerry Ann launched her first business, Mt. Hood Wranglers / K Sweitz Acres, where she offered guided horseback trail rides. Her program also brought joy to families through summer pony rides for children and festive sleigh and carriage rides during the winter season.

Looking ahead, Kerry Ann hopes to combine her lifelong love of horses with her background in human services by developing a nonprofit therapeutic riding center during the off-season. Her vision is to serve a variety of populations, offering structured days dedicated to specific needs. For example, she plans to provide support for military veterans experiencing PTSD, as well as create meaningful experiences for children in foster care.

Kerry Ann strongly believes in the healing connection between horses and people, and she is passionate about using that bond to make a positive impact in her community.

Seth Fendt

Seth has been involved with horses since the age of 13, developing a strong passion for roping and colt starting. He proudly served in the United States Army for six years as a bridge engineer, bringing discipline and dedication to everything he does.
In addition to his work with horses, Seth is a skilled farrier and the owner of Pro Heritage Construction, where he specializes in remodels, painting, decks, siding, and flooring. His hands-on expertise and strong work ethic are evident both in his business and around the ranch.

Seth and Kerry Ann were married in 2015 on Mt. Hood, a place that reflects their shared love for the outdoors and animals. Together, they are committed to preserving and sharing a meaningful way of life, creating memorable experiences for others along the way. Seth also attended George Fox University, where he played football as a defensive end.

In his spare time, Seth enjoys driving his impressive team of white Percherons, working on projects around the property, watching Dallas Cowboys games, and spending quality time with his two sons.
